Luna Ultra is a great camera, with dual Leica optics and a huge amount of creative potential. But sometimes, its small form factor does not fully do it justice. It is powerful, compact, and easy to carry, but not always easy to hold, control, monitor, or move like a real shooting tool.

KOMOTO is designed to close that gap. It gives Luna Ultra a stronger handheld structure, better grip options, faster setup changes, and a more controlled shooting experience while keeping the system compact and modular.

KOMOTO uses a sculpted, technical camera-rig design language. The open body keeps the camera easy to access, while the modular handles, front geometry, and layered details give the setup a stronger and more finished look.

The design is not only about appearance. It makes the camera easier to insert, remove, charge, hold, and configure depending on the way you shoot.

⛓️ Better Grip, Better Shots

When you hold a small camera by itself, your grip is limited. KOMOTO changes that by adding real contact points around the camera: from below, from the sides, and from the top.

⚙️ Choose Your Grip Setup

KOMOTO is available in three grip configurations. Each option gives you a different level of control, from a compact one-hand setup to the complete handle system.

Lower Grip

The Lower Grip lets you hold KOMOTO from underneath with one hand. It gives Luna Ultra a stronger and more secure handheld feel, especially when walking, moving, or filming quick dynamic shots.

Lower Grip + Side Grips

This setup includes the Lower Grip and adds the Side Grips, giving you a wider two-hand hold for smoother movement and better control.

• Side Grips can be mounted facing upward or downward depending on your shooting style.

Lower Grip + Side Grips + Top Handle

This is the complete KOMOTO handle setup, giving you control from underneath, from the sides, and from the top.

You can use the handles individually or combine them together depending on the shot. The Lower Grip gives you compact one-hand control, the Side Grips give you two-hand stability, and the Top Handle makes low-angle shots easier while giving the rig that classic handheld camera feel.

All handles mount quickly using dedicated cold shoe points and tighten with a simple knob system, so you can change configuration without tools.

⚡ Quick Camera Mounting System

KOMOTO uses the original Luna Ultra mounting module included with the camera. The module slides into the rig and locks from underneath with a hand-tightened 1/4" screw.

This keeps the camera secure while still making it easy to insert and remove without taking the whole setup apart.

🛡️ Works With the Original Protective Case

The Luna Ultra version is designed to work with the original protective case included with the camera. This means you can keep the camera more protected while still using the rig, without removing the case every time you want to build your setup.

📱 Optional Creator Bundle

The optional Creator Bundle adds two workflow upgrades: a MagSafe phone adapter for better monitoring and control, and a V-Lock quick release mount for faster tripod switching.

MagSafe Adapter for Better Monitoring and Control

With the MagSafe phone adapter, you can use your phone as a larger monitor through the camera app. This gives you a clearer view for framing, checking details, adjusting exposure, and controlling the camera with more precision.

Quick Release Mount for Fast Tripod Switching

The V-Lock quick release mount lets you move from handheld shooting to tripod work in seconds, without screwing and unscrewing the camera every time. It locks the rig securely and makes the setup faster, cleaner, and more professional.

KOMOTO is designed for Luna Ultra and works with the original Luna Ultra mounting module. The rig is also designed to allow use with the original protective case included with the camera.
